A Brief Story About Fablab JOGJA

Fablabs Jogja, as digital fabrication laboratories, was set up to inspire the community and entrepreneurs to share and turn their ideas into new products and prototypes by giving them access to a range of advanced digital manufacturing technology.

There are many creative actors who lack access to realize their activities, lack of sources of facilities that support the effectiveness of implementing activities to foster the latest innovations created. With the existence of the Fabrication Laboratory, Jogjakarta wants to provide maximum facilities in the form of useful tools to support the implementation of these creative activities to the local community and its surroundings.

In addition to providing facilities, FabLab Jogjakarta also provides mentoring activities which are useful as activity monitoring so that they can further broaden their horizons and provide useful new breakthroughs.

Through designing reality concept to community and industrial services, coupled with world-class education, our academic members may have excellent grass-root understanding and adequate global competence. With that, mind openness becomes the character where people’s views on anything are enriched with multiple perspectives.
